DeviantArtist Questionnaire

The event for DA's 15th Birthday(happy birthday!), and I thought "Why not?", so here we go;

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
   I joined DA on April 5th, 2012. Today is August 8th, 2015. The math checks out at (days/year * years) + days between this year's April 5th and today, which would come to 1221 days, or 3 years and 126 days.

2. What does your username mean?
   When I first started, I was all about Pokémon, yet I couldn't decide on a name. My sister suggested the pun of 'Pokémon' and 'maniac' to create... well, you know what it is 'PKMN Maniac' also happens to be a rank in the games, so it all works out.

3. Describe yourself in three words.
   As a person;
   cautious, bashful, tactical
   As an artist;
   slothful, unconfident, struggling

4. Are you left or right handed?
   Right-handed, but I try to teach myself ambidextrous-ity.

5. What was your first deviation?
   Giratina: Altered Form it's not great, but... oh well. Practise makes many failed attempts followed by however close to perfection as you'll get.

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
   I would like to start making detailed pieces and comic strips on Photoshop, but I lack any kind of equipment. I guess I'm stuck with my fineliners and a camera for a while. I do enjoy what I do, but I wouldn't mind learning something else.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
   If you look at 's 'Random Doom'/'Ice Climbers Anniversary Month' or anything by , then somthing like those. Some kind of manga/anime would be nice, too, I guess.

8. What was your first favourite?
   Wazzy88's Final Pokeball still love it.

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
   I can't see any real pattern between my favourites, but there is alot of Nintendo, comics, and some fantastic illustrations mixed in there.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
    Holy crap. How do I answer this? Uh... No idea. The majority of story writers and photographers and anime/manga enthusiasts and more I've encountered are all wonderful and brilliant in there own unique ways, and each have their own style of art that you won't see anyone else have. I don't have an all-time favourite artist, but there are people I have really taken to heart, and have loved since I found them. In no particular order are some of the artists I favour. _{sorry for pointing you out!}

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
    Well, I've made a few friends I wouldn't mind meeting, but there are also a few art kings and queens I would like to praise and thank for their work as previously mentioned.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
    Yes. I've met a lot of artists that I admire and such, but is one of my closest friends; and that includes people I know in person.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
    I'm best at the traditional cartoons that I create now, but as fore mentioned, I would like to learn to use Photoshop or SAI and use those pads with a pen-shaped mouse. *old guy laugh* ho ho, how times change, eh?

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
    A geographical place? There isn't one. But I get most of my inspiration through the Nintendo related mess that lives inside my head.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
    I don't have many great memories here, mostly good ones. But, starting the account, meeting people and seeing the art I've seen are all important and valued to me, I guess.
